Designed by Next 50 Architects, this Collinsvale house was a Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) design with panels imported from Austria. It's the first time this product has been used in Tasmania for a house.

This is the kind of project you see on Grand Designs UK. Next 50 Architects are members of the Australian Passive Haus Association and are experts in energy efficiency. The building is highly energy efficient, especially important for a structure perched above the snowline.
